DECA Students Advance in International Career Development Conference

DECA Students Advance in International Career Development Conference

We are so excited to advance 31 Sauk Rapids-Rice High School DECA qualifiers in 17 different events at this year’s virtual International Career Development Conference on April 19–23.

Each DECA event evaluation process involves both a written component, such as an exam or report, and an interactive component. Students are judged by an industry professional. At this year's International Career Development Conference, students will submit pre-recorded presentations for a preliminary competition. Those who advance to finals will have the chance to meet with business professionals from around the United States via Zoom presentations.

DECA’s competitive events directly contribute to every student being college- and career-ready upon graduation from high school. Congratulations to all who competed this year! We are so proud of our students' hard work over the past several months.
