Caregiving Awareness

These students are learning about what it is like to care for an infant. Ms. Sowada’s Child Development I classes are using RealCare Baby3 infant simulators. These “babies” are not dolls, but smart learning tools that create awareness about caregiver responsibilities, infant health and early childhood development. They track care, mishandling actions, clothing changes and make real infant eating and (loud!) crying sounds. Even the babies’ heads require proper support and correct positioning.
