2024-25 American Choral Directors Association (ACDA-MN) State Honor Choir

Nine choir students from SRRHS were chosen, by audition, to participate in the 2024-25 MN American Choral Directors Association (ACDA-MN) State Honor Choir. Over 900 9th and 10th graders from around the state submitted recordings online for a “blind” audition that is scored by a selection committee made up of choral directors trained with special adjudication and screening skills. Around 300 students were scored and ultimately selected on the following musical elements of intonation, pitch accuracy, tone quality, attention to diction, and musical expression. The following were carefully selected as one of the outstanding young Minnesota choral musicians from hundreds of applications.  They will perform in one of three Honor Choirs as part of the MN Music Educators Conference in February.
