Adult Education/GED

At Sauk Rapids-Rice Adult Education, we help students age 17 and older reach their educational goals. Our schedules are flexible to fit the lives of busy adults and we offer in-person or online options.

Our GED and Diploma programs can help you earn a high school diploma, prepare for the GED exam, or improve reading, math and writing skills. We are the only Adult Education site in Central Minnesota where adults may finish earning their high school credits.

We also serve ESL (English as a Second Language) students in Levels 3, 4, 5, and 6 with in-person and online options.

Congratulations on deciding to further your education! We look forward to talking with you and helping you reach your goals.

Our program is designed for adults (students age 17 with special requirements). We offer in-person and online options where students work at their own pace.

New GED/Diploma students can register on Tuesday mornings at 9am or by appointment from September through May. Please allow up to 3 hours to complete enrollment and mandatory testing.

Sauk Rapids-Rice Schools

Three Paths to completing your high school diploma or equivalency.
We will help you find the fastest route!

1. Take the GED Exam:

Study and take the GED exam to earn your GED. The GED tests are now given only on the computer. We can help you prepare with computer-assisted learning.

2. Complete Credit Recovery:

Complete your high school credits to earn your high school diploma. You might be able to finish your high school credits no matter when you stopped! We will contact your previous high school and determine which credits are required to earn your diploma. Our teachers will assign the necessary homework you need to finish.

3. Earn a Hybrid Diploma:

Receive a hybrid diploma by combining tests, experience, and classes to meet the state requirements.
