Our Mission
The mission of the Sauk Rapids-Rice High School Media Center is to provide an inviting, dynamic learning environment and services that support and enhance teaching, literacy and learning.
In addition, we seek to teach information literacy skills and encourage all students to be lifelong learners by providing a wide variety of texts in which all students can see themselves represented.
High School Media Center Resources
Hours: 7:30–3:30 p.m.
The media center is open everyday and is available to students any time school is in session. We ask that students sign in and out and come with a pass if sent from a teacher. Students may also use the media center during passing time, study time, lunch, or at the beginning or end of the school day.
Book Checkout Procedure
Students are allowed to check out up to seven books. However, if a book should be lost or damaged, the account will be billed in Skyward for the price of the missing book at the end of the trimester. If the book is found you may return it to the school office or send it to school with your child. Your account will be refunded if the book was paid for or we will take the bill off the account. If paying by check instead of through Skyward, they should be made out to the school for the appropriate amount.
