High School eLearning

The high school will follow the schedule listed below for students to get support and complete assignments. Students who wish to work independently may complete assignments at any time throughout the day.

Below are the eLearning expectations for students, staff, and families:

In advance, students will: Know where to access, be able to log in to Schoology, and access appropriate folders for each class

Daily Schedule for Support
Period 1: 9:00-9:30 a.m.
Period 2: 9:45-10:15 a.m.
Period 3: 10:30-11:00 a.m.
Period 4: 11:45–11:45 a.m.
Lunch: 11:45-12:30 p.m.
Period 5: 12:30-1:00 p.m.
Period 6: 1:15-1:45 p.m.
Period 7: 2:00–2:30 p.m.
Storm Study: 2:30-3:00 p.m.

At the end of the day, there will be Storm Study for students to connect with teachers in classes where extra support is needed. This will be a time for students to get questions answered on schoolwork, get feedback, and complete missing work. Students should email or Schoology message a teacher to indicate they would like to meet via Google Meet.

Expectations for Students:

On an eLearning day, students will:

  • Complete eLearning day assignments within 3 school days.
  • Communicate questions for teachers via phone and digital communications. 

In advance, students will:

  • Know where to access, be able to log in to Schoology, and access appropriate folders for each class

Expectations for Families:

On an eLearning day, families will:

  • Check in with the child to ensure they were able to obtain and complete their work.
  • Communicate questions to teachers via email or other digital mediums.

Expectations for Teachers:

  • Post assignments on Schoology by 9:00 a.m. and be available during the class times below.

  • Storm Study: At the end of the day, students may email or Schoology message a teacher to indicate they would like further support.

  • Be available for questions via school email, voicemail, and learning management system from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

  • Address student/family questions forwarded from the main office in a timely manner.

  • Record attendance in Skyward based on completed work submitted within three days.
